The Dream to Live Charitable Foundation is considering participating in a pilot project to introduce TippyTalk, a digital alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) tool for children with speech difficulties.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
We plan to implement this service at the \u201cWorld of Opportunities\u201d inclusive center as an additional tool for socialization and development of children's communication skills.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
TippyTalk is an application that helps nonverbal or partially nonverbal children:<\/div>\n
\u2022 build sentences using images<\/div>\n
\u2022 voice their needs<\/div>\n
\u2022 reduce frustration<\/div>\n
\u2022 interact better with adults and peers<\/div>\n
\u2022 gradually develop independent communication skills<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It is important for us to understand:<\/div>\n
\u2022 how many children in our community have communication difficulties<\/div>\n
\u2022 whether there is a need to implement AAC tools<\/div>\n
\u2022 how many families are ready to join the pilot testing<\/div>\n
\u2022 what support is needed (training, support, consultations)<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
