In Kyiv, as part of the project \u201cSmall Grants for Social Services for Families with Children and Children and\/or Early Intervention Services,\u201d day care services are provided for children with disabilities (subgroup A).<\/p>\n
The Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities continues to highlight organizations that have received small grants and are developing social services at the local level.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s story is about the work of the \u201cDream to Live\u201d Charitable Foundation.<\/p>\n
Ivan is six years old. He is from the Sumy region and currently lives in Kyiv. The boy has been receiving day care services since last September. His mother says she is already seeing changes.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen a child like this comes into the family, it\u2019s very difficult. You\u2019re constantly emotionally drained: from morning to night, you\u2019re focused solely on him, and there\u2019s no set daily routine. You\u2019re constantly worried about his physical condition and daily life. There are only a few people you can talk to; everyone else has turned away. In fact, I was left alone with my emotions, my problems, and my child.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThanks to the daycare service, my child has become calmer, started taking more interest in the world around him, and is more open to interaction. I am very grateful for this support,\u201d Ivan\u2019s mother shares.<\/p>\n
