History and appeal from the words of the mother:

We didn’t learn about Nikita’s diagnosis right away. During pregnancy, some tests showed possible issues, but doctors reassured us that everything was fine. However, when Nikita was born, we were in shock – he was diagnosed with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. It was a devastating moment for our family, but we decided to fight for his health and future.

Nikita has already undergone four heart surgeries and two eye surgeries. Thanks to the treatment and our support, he started walking around the age of four. Now he is eight, and each year he makes new progress. I remember how, after his first surgery, he held our hands tightly with his small fingers as if he was afraid we would let go. At that moment, we knew that together we could overcome any obstacle. We believe in our son and do everything we can for his development.

Nikita loves music, dancing, and drawing. He enjoys helping in the kitchen and dreams of playing football. Unfortunately, many of his activities had to be put on hold due to the war. Now, it is crucial for him to have access to regular rehabilitation and sessions with specialists. Without this support, his progress may slow down, but we want him to keep moving forward. Any support you provide will help Nikita become stronger and happier.

At the moment, the fundraising for payment to the Inclusive center "World of opportunities" is open for a total amount of UAH 25,000.00.
