The story:
“Hlib was born with a diagnosis of syndactyly of both hands. During the first ultrasound, doctors told his parents that the boy would be born with a congenital pathology. Since childhood, he has been undergoing a difficult path of treatment. To date, six surgical interventions have already been performed, with one more planned operation scheduled for 2025.
Despite his difficulties, Hlib is an extremely active and intelligent boy. He started school at the age of 6 and became one of the most successful students in his class. He has a thirst for knowledge, learns new things easily, and is also very creative. Glib loves to sing and build LEGO models. His favorite activities are building ships, buses, trams, and subway trains. He enjoys following instructions and dreams of becoming a real engineer - a young technician who creates something new with his own hands.
The boy really needs socialization, communication with other children and participation in useful activities. That is why visiting the "World of Opportunities" Inclusive Center was an important step for him. Here he can develop, discover new skills, and most importantly, be among peers who understand and support him.
“It is very important for me, as a mother, to see that Hlib not only studies but also enjoys life. At the Center, he opens up, learns to trust and be part of the team. This is extremely valuable,” says Glib's mother, Victoria.
Hlib dreams that his hands will be as dexterous as those of other children. And we believe that with the support of caring hearts, dreams come true.”
At the moment, the fundraising for payment to the Inclusive center "World of opportunities" is open for a total amount of UAH 25,000.00.
