Eva Smirnova

History and appeal from the words of the mother:

"On August 30, 2018, twins were born in our family - a girl Eva and a boy Christian. For the first year, the children developed according to their age. But over time, we began to notice that our Eva was becoming more and more different from other children.

She did not talk, was not interested in ordinary toys, did not respond to her name. She often walked on tiptoe and had trouble sleeping. We underwent many examinations by various specialists, and only in October 2024 did a psychiatrist diagnose a neuropsychiatric condition (ASD - autism spectrum disorder).

We started rehabilitation in February 2025. We had 10 sessions with specialists, followed by a two-week course according to Resolution 309. But the free rehabilitation at the Kyiv City Center for Children with Disabilities is already coming to an end.

There is a small but very important progress - Eva is eating and drinking on her own. However, she still does not speak or use the potty.

We have no right to stop when the first positive changes appear. The next important stage is a rehabilitation course at the Eva Smirnova Center for Psychophysical Rehabilitation, which costs UAH 25,000.
