First day in day care

Here are some tips to help with the adjustment:

Tell your child in simple words where they are going and what will be there (games, friends, interesting activities).

Bring along a favorite toy or small item – this will create a sense of security.

Get yourself in the right frame of mind – children are very sensitive to their parents' emotions.

Give it time: everyone adapts differently, some get used to it in a day, while others need a week.
