The foundation’s own program
One Family — One Path
60 days of comprehensive support for the child and family
Day care, developmental sessions, psychological support for adults and help with basic needs — all in one individual plan.
Fundraising goal for 3 families — UAH 168,000

Why it matters
A family should not have to piece support together
When a child needs care, developmental sessions and social contact, and the adults need support and time for everyday tasks, fragmented services add to the burden. We organize help around the needs of each family: we set goals, draw up a route and stay in touch through one coordinator.
What the program includes
Support that works together
Six components joined by one route. The actual set of services depends on individual needs and the program’s resources.

Day care
A safe space, daily support, social contact and developmental activities in an inclusive environment.

Speech therapist
Individual sessions to develop speech, communication and social skills.

Psychological support for adults
Consultations for parents and others who care for the child every day.

Food assistance
Food packages based on the family’s assessed needs and the program’s capacity.

Hygiene supplies
Essential everyday care items for the child and the family.

Route coordination
An individual plan, an agreed schedule, contact with a coordinator and progress monitoring.
Participants
Who the program is for
For families in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast raising children aged roughly 3–10 with disabilities or developmental delays who need several interconnected kinds of support. Participation is decided after a needs assessment, taking into account age, the availability of service formats, places and funding. The support package is set individually.
How it works
How the 60 days work
We assess needs
An initial conversation, assessment, agreeing goals and the individual plan.
We start support
Agreed services, sessions, consultations, material assistance and record-keeping.
We review the route
Together with the family we assess interim changes and adjust the plan.
We continue the work
Support under the updated plan, regular contact and recording of results.
We sum up
A final assessment and recommendations for next steps.
Expected changes
The result is more than the number of sessions
For the child
New opportunities to develop communication, everyday living skills and interaction.
For adults
Support, a more predictable schedule and resources for daily care.
For the family
A clear support route, agreed goals and fewer scattered requests.
Each family’s progress is assessed individually; the same results are not guaranteed for every child.

The planned pilot covers three families over 60 days. Applying does not guarantee participation; enrolment depends on the assessment, available places and confirmed funding.

Frequently asked questions
Can we apply if our child already attends day care?
Yes, to discuss your needs first. The team will check which components are already covered and decide whether additional support is needed, without double funding.
Will every family get the same package?
No. The program provides an individual route. The content, scope and schedule of support depend on the needs assessment and available resources.
Is free participation guaranteed?
No. Free participation and the specific scope of support depend on the funding raised and the selection criteria.
The program is preparing for its pilot. Publishing this page is not an announcement of open enrolment. The list and scope of support depend on the family’s needs, the team’s capacity and confirmed funding. The same services are never paid for twice from different sources.
