The child has known what hunger is since he was nine years old. Both Yevgeny and I have gray hair... We hid in the basement of a half-destroyed building. It was only on May 2, 2022, with the first convoy of the UN and the Red Cross, which was evacuating people from Azovstal, that we were able to get out to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Today, I am raising two sons on my own. I have no home. My work is random. I do odd jobs. Because I cannot leave my son unattended.

The foundation's help with Yevgeny's rehabilitation is very important to us."
