“Artem is my only child. They were born as a successor to the sudden outbreak of accumulated waters and were without water for 14 years before they were born. This could be one of the reasons for my diagnosis. It has developed quite well. In addition, up to 3 days without talking. During this period, I noticed that his behavior differs from the behavior of other children. You can hear all sorts of unconscious vocal sounds, waving your arms, closing your ears, if it was loud. I became a pediatric neurologist at the regional hospital in Kherson. We recognized the illness and made the diagnosis: Impairment of mental and mental development.
After a decade of healing, Artyom began to speak a lot and unconsciously, and within an hour (up to 5 years) he was able to understand all sounds clearly. Behavior became more and more disruptive when compared to other children. After my repeated efforts, we were nevertheless sent to a regional psychiatric hospital, and Artem was diagnosed with early childhood autism and Artem was given a disability. After the diagnosis, Artem was taken to the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities.
At the age of 7, Artem started school for individualized learning. From the 3rd grade, I insisted on inclusive education for my son because he was doing well and, most importantly, he needed socialization. When the war broke out, Artem was in the 5th grade. Our town of Kakhovka was under occupation from the first day of the war. The presence of military equipment and armed occupiers, explosions in our city had a great psychological impact on Artem. Therefore, we had to leave our home and move to the territory controlled by Ukraine. I am divorced from my son's father (I am waiting for a court decision) and since the beginning of the war I have not received any help from him: neither moral nor financial.
Artem is now starting 7th grade. His favorite subjects: English language and computer science. I really want you to know what kind of life you have taken in, that my son will require steady rehabilitation and work with specialists who will help you get through this difficult time. way. ”
At the moment, he needs a rehabilitation course at the Physical Rehabilitation Center “Step by Step to the Goal” for a total of UAH 25,000.
