Olena Serednya

History and appeal from the words of the mother:

 

“Olena was born the third child in the family at 39 weeks, weighing 3.760 kg, the birth was not natural, she had a cesarean section.

The child was diagnosed with Down syndrome. Delayed sex-kinetic and psychomotor development. Minimal open oval eye. Aberrant right subclavian artery. Pulmonary hypertension of newborns. Hemolytic disease of newborns, ABO condition, jaundice. Hypoxic-ischemic lesions of the central nervous system, syndrome of motor disorders. Congenital cataracts of both eyes: eye surgery at 6 months, artificial lenses were implanted: atryphania of both eyes, partial atryphania of the optic nerve, horizontal nigrostomy.

Consultations with an ophthalmologist every year. After eye surgery, the child was diagnosed with Episindrome A stage of medical remission (the child has no seizures).

Until the age of 2, she did not walk, diagnosed with hip dysplasia and vulgus deformity of the hip and ankle joints. At the age of 3, she walked on her own, but could not walk for a long time and asked to be held. We are currently 5.5 years old, she does not speak, but pronounces sounds and some syllables, fine motor skills.”
