The "Dream of Living" Foundation and Dima's mother appeal to caring people for help in rehabilitation. Dimochka was born prematurely, at 33.5 weeks, unscheduled caesarean section. During the operation, the life of the mother and the baby was hanging in the balance!
Dima was born with a weight of 2100 kg, he was very weak, although the doctors did not say, but the child had asphyxia. The baby spent a day in intensive care. The mother stayed in the maternity hospital for 11 days, then they were transferred to the pathology department for 2 weeks. In the pathology department, the child was put to the chest only in the second week of life. Such violations could not pass by. And in the first year of life, the boy was given a terrible diagnosis: cerebral palsy. Ischemic syndrome. Movement disorder syndrome. Damage to the central nervous system. Organic brain damage.
At one year of his life, Dimka could not sit, crawl, there were no attempts to walk either. Vaccinations have been done almost all of them, although with such a diagnosis they cannot be done at all. When Dmytryk was 4 months old, the baby's family got into a minor car accident. It was a big fright for him, and at the same time, the baby bent over and screamed, at that moment there was a strong spasm of the whole body. Then everything seemed to be as before, but something broke. At 9 months old, my mother went to the rehabilitation center in Kryvyi Rih, where they said that there was no hope for her recovery. In 1 year and 5 months, Dima was in Kyiv in the 1st city hospital and underwent a rehabilitation course in the complex. Already after three rehabilitations, small advances appeared. We went there 11 times before the age of 3. Then there was the "Iskra" sanatorium in Yevpatoria, the "Solony Lyman" sanatorium in Novomoskovsk, the "Khadzhibey" sanatorium and the "Future" center in Odesa, and once at the Kozyavkin International Clinic in Truskavets 7 years ago.
At the moment, Dmytryk really dreams of walking on his own, because he is mentally well developed and his mother really wants to put him on his feet so that he can live fully and be happy.
