On February 17–19, 2026, a three-day training course on providing social day care services for children with disabilities was held in Kyiv as part of the project “Minimum package of integrated social services for families with children.”
Specialists working in the field of day care took part in the training and deepened their knowledge of:
state service standards; functional approach and International Classification of Functioning; development of individual development plans; multidisciplinary team work; use of assistive technologies and alternative communication; partnership with parents; creation of a barrier-free environment.The training was practical in nature and aimed at improving the quality of day care services in the community. It is important for us that day care services are not just about keeping children occupied during the day, but about providing systematic support for their development and families and creating conditions for each child to grow at their own pace.
We continue to develop our team and implement modern approaches to provide quality assistance to children with disabilities and their families.
