This video presents the practical implementation of day care services for children with disabilities in subgroup A by the charity fund “Dream to Live” at the Inclusive center “World of Opportunities”
The video reflects a comprehensive approach to organizing and providing social services focused on supporting children with disabilities and their families.
The material presents the experience of parents who, before receiving the service, were under constant physical and emotional stress, combining intensive care for their child with professional activities and household duties. The lack of systematic support and limited opportunities for social integration increased the level of stress in families and necessitated the introduction of accessible day care services in the community.
The results of the service show positive changes in the daily lives of families: stabilization of children's daily routines, improved socialization, development of basic social and life skills, and reduced psychological stress on parents.
Day care services include:
The service is provided by a team of trained specialists who ensure the quality, safety, and consistency of the process, taking into account the individual characteristics of children in subgroup A.
Support for the program has made it possible to ensure the continuity of day care services, expand access to social services in the community for children with disabilities in subgroup A, and strengthen the institutional capacity of the organization.
Day care services are an important component of the social support system for families raising children with disabilities, promoting their social integration and improving their quality of life.
