A child needs a speech therapist. A mother needs the opportunity to work. A family needs stability. But who will bring all of this together into a single support system? Families raising children with disabilities tackle dozens of challenges every day that may go unnoticed by others.
Finding specialists. Organizing care. Paying for therapy sessions. Meeting basic needs. And at the same time, keeping their jobs and finding the energy and time for their own lives.
Charitable aid often addresses only one of these needs. Today, a family receives a food package. Tomorrow—a consultation with a specialist. But who will help coordinate all these services so that they work toward a common goal?
This is the problem of fragmented assistance—when individual well-intentioned initiatives fail to form a continuous support system.
At the “Dream to Live” Charitable Foundation, we’re convinced that a family needs not only help at a specific moment, but also the opportunity to gradually change their daily lives.
That’s exactly why we developed the “One Family—One Path” program. It’s based on 90 days of comprehensive support for a child and their family, tailored to an individual plan.
We want philanthropy to help not only overcome today’s difficulties but also create opportunities for tomorrow.
