The charitable foundation “Dream to Live”, together with our partner dobro.ua continues to raise funds for Andriy Slabinsky, age 6.
The boy was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and speech delay. From the first months of life, Andriy's development was difficult: delayed motor skills, increased muscle tone, hip dysplasia. He started walking only at the age of one and a half.
Later, it became noticeable that his speech was not developing, stereotypical behavior appeared, after which the doctors confirmed the diagnosis - autism. For almost three years, Andriy has been regularly undergoing rehabilitation: ABA therapy, classes with a speech therapist and psychologist, sensory integration, occupational therapy and exercise therapy. It is systematic work with specialists that helps the boy develop and take new steps forward.
Unfortunately, state programs cover only part of the classes, and continuous support is necessary for progress. The family is seeking help to pay for the next rehabilitation course and give Andriy a chance to develop, learn and gradually start talking
